Each week we are going to have NFL analysts, media personalities and other podcast hosts give us their Chiefs Predictions. We take a look at Madden 2018 as well.
Here is our week six pregame and predictions.
Matt Williamson – National NFL Analyst – Kansas City is rolling and that is a very tough place to play. But don’t expect the Steelers to be an easy victory for the Chiefs. This one should go down to the wire with KC narrowly escaping undefeated. Steelers 20, Chiefs 21
Connor Rogers – Host of the Sticktofootball Podcast – The Chiefs get into a shootout as Big Ben finally bounces back, but a big turnover or two should help them close this one out. Steelers 31, Chiefs 38
A quick reminder to take a look at this past weeks Chiefs Spotlight on Alex Smith.
Mike Renner, Senior Analyst ProFootballFocus.com – These teams have gone in completely opposite directions since last years playoffs. Ben Roethlisberger hasn’t been nearly accurate enough down the field to move the ball on the Chiefs defense. Steelers 10, Chiefs 20
Matt Derrick, Publisher ChiefsDigest.com – The Chiefs have a couple of more demons from the past to slay these season and knocking off the Steelers Is one of the big ones remain. It’s safe to expect a better Steelers effort than they showed last week against Jacksonville. But the Chiefs have plenty of motivation to want this game. Until an NFL defense stymies the Chiefs offense, it’s hard to bet against Alex Smith and Kareem Hunt. These two teams are in different places than they were nine months ago. The Chiefs are the better team with home field advantage to boot. Steelers 16, Chiefs 26
A quick look back at the Chiefs News from last weeks win over the Texans.
Carrington Harrison – 610 Sports – The Chiefs are facing road Ben Roethlisberger who has 18TD and 19INTs the last 3 seasons. Steelers 20, Chiefs 27
Cody Tapp – SportsRadio 810 – Bell could present problems but Big Ben hasn’t been the same guy on the road in years. Chiefs are motivated to get back for the playoff loss and get the win. Steelers 13, Chiefs 27
I’m predicting Bob Sutton uses more cover plays in the secondary with a 3 man pass rush, similar to what he did against Tom Brady in Week 1. The Chiefs D let Brady play but packed the coverage to create tight windows to his receivers, luckily it worked as it was giving Brady enough rope to hang himself with.
Sutton’s aim will be to play with Roethlisberger’s mind and almost dare him to throw down field. But the Steelers have something to prove.
Steelers 21, Chiefs 17
Mark Schofield – Locked on Patriots Senior Analyst – Pittsburgh struggles against the run, especially outside zone. Big game from Hunt. Steelers 20, Chiefs 42
A quick review of the Pressure Points for this weeks game.
Ryan Tracy, Locked on Chiefs Senior Analyst – Chiefs get a wounded Steelers team at home and make the best of it. The Pittsburgh 3 Make some noise but Chiefs pull through. Steelers 21, Chiefs 24
Chris Clark, Locked on Chiefs Senior Analyst – The Chiefs head into this game as the best team in the NFL. They have already played one of the toughest schedules in the league and they are still undefeated. I don’t think that ends today. Steelers 20, Chiefs 31
A look from the world of Madden 2018
Madden 2018 – Chiefs jumped out to a big lead quick and never looked back. Steelers 3, Chiefs 30
