Each week we are going to have NFL analysts, media personalities and other podcast hosts give us their Chiefs Predictions. This week it’s time for a primetime matchup on Saturday Night Football with a look from Madden 2018 as well.
Here is our week fifteen pregame and predictions.
Matt Williamson – National NFL Analyst – I have faith once again in Kansas City’s offense, but the Chargers are just the better team right now. This should be a good close game, but Los Angeles wins and takes control of the AFC West. Chargers 30, Chiefs 27
Connor Rogers – Host of the Sticktofootball Podcast – This is a must win for the Chiefs at home, but the Los Angeles Chargers are as hot as any team in football right now. With a skidding defense, Kansas City won’t be able to hold on. Chargers 27, Chiefs 34
Mike Renner, Senior Analyst ProFootballFocus.com – Few defenses have been playing as well as the Chargers over the last couple months. Alex Smith has struggled against single high defenses over this down stretch and the Chargers play almost exclusively that. Chargers 21, Chiefs 10
Carrington Harrison – 610 Sports – I think the Chargers are the better team but I believe in the Arrowhead mystique. Chargers 24, Chiefs 27
A quick review of the Pressure Points for this weeks game.
Cody Tapp – SportsRadio 810 – I guess I’ll buy back in but fearful it’s a trap. Run game goes the second straight week and they get a step on the division. Chargers 24, Chiefs 28
Mark Schofield – Locked on Patriots Senior Analyst – Alex Smith is the perfect foil for an impressive LA pass rush. He can extend, escape and is quick to get the ball out in the face of pressure. That will serve him well against Bosa and Ingram Saturday evening. Chargers 17, Chiefs 20
Ryan Tracy, Locked on Chiefs Senior Analyst – Chiefs have to build on their win over the Raiders. The offense has to flow through the middle LA’s defense using Hunt and Kelce. Peter’s must show Improvement in his return and the pass rush has to be evident. Chiefs pull it off. Chargers 21, Chiefs 27
Chris Clark, Locked on Chiefs Senior Analyst – The Chiefs offense seemed to get some life against the Raiders and the defense smothered them for three quarters. Unfortunately the Los Angeles Chargers are a better team and I expect it to play out that way on Saturday. Chargers 27, Chiefs 21
A look from the world of Madden 2018
Madden 2018 – The Chiefs offense never got going against the Los Angeles Chargers and the defense floundered late as well. Chargers 20, Chiefs 6

Pat Mahomes minicamp and the Defense’s Overhaul deep dive
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid ended mini-camp a day early, in part because he has seen impressive progress from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The Defense’s change ramps up. I review each level of the defense, looking at players Chris Jones, Derrick Nnadi, Justin Houston, Breeland Speaks, Dee Ford, Eric Berry Reggie Ragland and Armani Watts.
The front 7 gets nasty and the secondary is making plays. Linebackers remain the core of the squad.
